PEAK:: PROCESS :: PERFORMANCE ::™
A new down has emerged for Kenya's new government that was sworn in
today. Though the number of Ministers were high it was the best way
at forming a GRAND COALITION that represented the whole country. The
number of Ministers are forty while Assistant Ministers are fifty
two.The political stalemate that has engulfed Kenya seems to at
last have found a solution and it is expected that the GRAND
COALITION will deliver on promises that it has made to the people.
The government is expected to pass laws that will pave way in
enticing foreign direct investments at a time when the country needs
it.
It is expected that the ICT and Tourism sectors will drive
the engine of economic development, the government set up the ICT
Board in 2007 to advise the government on issues of information,
communication and technology in order to enhance national
development and the VISION 2030.
Kenya is endowed with skilled workforce and we expect it to take
its role as the emerging AFRICAN TIGER economy. Last year growth
projections were pointing to a figure north of 7%, a challenge is in
position as to whether that growth can be maintained.
